History

Bodegas Alconde was founded in 1956 by a group of winemakers from Lerín who recognized the potential of their vineyards. They united their efforts to create a winery dedicated to producing and marketing quality wines.

This legacy, passed down through generations, is reflected in the cultivation of 150 hectares of vineyards in Navarre, a region celebrated for its exceptional grape-growing conditions.

Vineyard and Territory

  • Age of Vineyards: Over 50 years, with some vines exceeding 100 years.
  • Climate: Cold winters and warm summers, ideal for grape ripening.
  • Soil: Poor and calcareous, producing low yields, with pebbles retaining moisture for deep-rooted vines.

This unique terroir produces soft, balanced wines, showcasing varieties such as Tempranillo, Garnacha, Graciano, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Chardonnay, and Sauvignon Blanc.
