History

Bodegas Alconde’s history began in 1956, when a group of small winemakers from Lerín decided to unite. Convinced of the potential of their vineyards, they established a project aimed at marketing high-quality wines.

By pooling their vineyards, working hand in hand, and using techniques passed down through generations, they founded Bodegas Alconde. Today, the winery owns 150 hectares of vineyards in Navarre, located on privileged lands ideally suited for grape cultivation.

Territory

The vineyards, some over 50 years old and occasionally reaching a century, are situated in a region with ideal climatic conditions:

  • Cold winters and warm summers, promoting perfect grape ripening.
  • Soil: Poor and limy, allowing small yields with pebbles to retain moisture for deep roots.

These factors contribute to soft and balanced wines, primarily based on the Tempranillo variety, along with Garnacha, Graciano, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Chardonnay, and Sauvignon Blanc.
