Tasting Notes

An elegant wine with body, yet maintaining the characteristic style of Bodegas Alconde:

  • Aroma: A blend of fruity notes complemented by toasted aromas from its long aging, with hints of black pepper and dried flowers.
  • Flavor: Soft and spicy with a long aftertaste, combining the richness of the grape with subtle aging characteristics.

History

Bodegas Alconde was established in 1956 by a group of winemakers from Lerín, who recognized the potential of their vineyards. Together, they created a winery dedicated to producing and marketing high-quality wines.

Through techniques handed down from generation to generation, Bodegas Alconde now cultivates 150 hectares of vineyards in Navarre, an area renowned for its exceptional grape-growing conditions.

Vineyard and Territory

  • Age of Vineyards: Over 50 years, with some vines exceeding 100 years.
  • Climate: Cold winters and warm summers, ideal for grape ripening.
  • Soil: Poor and calcareous, resulting in low yields, with pebbles that retain moisture for deep-rooted vines.

The unique terroir and meticulous care result in soft, balanced wines, including Tempranillo, Garnacha, Graciano, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Chardonnay, and Sauvignon Blanc.

Sardasol Reserva

This Reserva represents a modern style of reserve wine, combining elegance, fruitiness, and complexity. It is a testament to the dedication and expertise of Bodegas Alconde, offering a wine that is both sophisticated and approachable.
