History
Bodegas Alconde was founded in 1956 by a group of small winemakers from Lerín. Recognizing the potential of their vineyards, they united to create a winery focused on marketing high-quality wines.
Using techniques handed down from father to son and working collaboratively, they established Bodegas Alconde, which now cultivates 150 hectares of vineyards in Navarre, an area known for its exceptional suitability for grape cultivation.
Vineyard and Territory
- Age of Vineyards: Over 50 years, with some vines surpassing 100 years.
- Climate: Cold winters and warm summers, ideal for grape ripening.
- Soil: Poor and calcareous, promoting low yields, with pebbles ensuring moisture for deep roots.
These conditions produce soft and balanced wines, primarily Tempranillo, alongside Garnacha, Graciano, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Chardonnay, and Sauvignon Blanc.
Sardasol Monovarietal Series
The Sardasol Monovarietal Series celebrates the unique qualities of specific grape varieties. The Garnacha Tinto reflects a journey back to its origins, embracing the essence of the land and the craftsmanship of its makers.
This wine embodies the heritage, dedication, and connection to the terroir that define Bodegas Alconde.
