Elaboration

  • Fermentation: Must is fermented at a controlled temperature with the addition of 10% fresh grapes.
  • Aging: Aged on lees in concrete tanks with weekly batonnage, followed by three months in new 500-liter oak and acacia barrels.

Territory

The vineyard is located in the municipality of Baigorri, amidst a picturesque landscape of holm oaks and red earth. The name Baigorri, meaning "Red River" in Basque, reflects the vibrant color of the Ega River during rains.

  • Soil: Clay-loam, cultivated using minimal intervention and following Regenerative Viticulture practices.

History

Moreno and Cabezón were childhood friends who shared a lifetime of hard work in the vineyard and moments of camaraderie in the Calle Mayor. This wine honors their memory, reflecting their character and dedication.

Limited Edition: Only 1,900 bottles produced.
