Wine Details

• Type: Organic Sparkling Wine (Pétillant Naturel)
• Grape Varieties: Garnacha Blanca
• Vineyard: Low-yield, organically farmed vines in the Yerri Valley, sheltered by the Urbasa and Andía mountain ranges. Fresh calcareous clay soils, free of synthetic chemicals.
• Harvest: Manual, early September.
• Winemaking: Fermentation begins spontaneously in a steel tank at low temperatures (16ºC) to preserve aromas. Bottled during fermentation to capture natural bubbles using the ancestral method. No sulfites added; unfiltered and undisgorged.
• Alcohol Content: 12% Vol.

Tasting Notes

• Color: Intense straw yellow with greenish reflections and light golden hues. Fine, light bubbles. Slightly cloudy due to the natural production process.
• Nose: High intensity with fresh notes of pome fruits like pear and apple, combined with aromas of stone fruits. Creamy touches from the lees (brioche) and a honeyed finish add complexity.
• Palate: Fine, well-integrated bubbles. Full-bodied with good acidity and depth, making it easy to drink.

2022 Vintage

A very hot and dry year brought the harvest forward by two weeks, resulting in grapes harvested in exceptional health and quality.

This is Aroa Bodegas' first sparkling wine, crafted using the ancestral method, the most traditional way of capturing bubbles. Following the philosophy of Le Naturel, no sulfites or other additives are used, creating a wine that reflects the pure essence of its origins.
